MESSAGE TO JAMBITE

MESSAGE TO MY 2020/21 JAMBITE
  DON'T GIVE UP MY STUDENTS.
*Share to all students to keep hope alive"

*Every successful person has a painful story, so never give up. A school bell that sounds as a disturbance at 8:am for students to assemble, while others rush and  also sounds interesting at 2:pm when students want to go home ..  is just a matter of time..so Don't envy anyone. Not everyone walking fast has an appointment*. > Nwankwo Godwin SenGin

*Some Have Running Stomach.*
*If a rose smells better than tomatoes, It doesn't mean the rose can make a better stew. Don't try to compare yourself to others. You also have your own strength, look for it, and build on it. All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up. Remember that Broken crayons still color_. Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal.*
Don't give up if you fail but dust your feet and rise up, because polytechnic or  UNIVERSITY nor jamb can't define your success.

Today's History

   *Today's History*
The Moors were Black Africans that settled in europe (spain in particular) around the year 711. Highly educated, the Moors brought much ”light" to europeans, who had barely emerged from the dark age following the vandals invasion. The Moors were highly esteemed by europeans for their erudition and refinement.

The Moors, for example, taught europeans to regularly change their clothes instead of wearing the same filthy clothes all year round. It was also under the influence of the Moors that the various European ethnic groups began to wash frequently and to use soap. These new measures contributed considerably to reduce deadly diseases linked to poor hygiene. The Moors also established the separation between humans and animals. Before that, europeans lived with their chickens, sheep, or cows in the same place where they ate and slept. This overcrowding caused illnesses like measles and chickenpox.

The Moors also made reading accessible. In fact, the majority of the people in europe were illiterate at that time, including kings and nobles. Only the clergy really knew how to read and write because they were spreading the bible. The Moors built free schools accessible to everyone, as well as hundreds of libraries which included thousands of manuscripts on medicine and surgery, astrology, plant healing, architecture, fabric making, farming techniques, and music.

Many of the instruments currently used in western music have their origins with the Moors. Examples include the drum, the horn, the lute, the xylophone, and the harp. Today, the trumpet is an evolution of the horn, the guitar comes from the lute and the piano is simply a lying harp to which keys have been added. The Moors built the first conservatory of music in europe in Valencia, spain and they are probably the originators of “european classical music”.

The Moors civilized Europe for a large part, but because of racist ideologies, their influence has been denied to this day. By immersing yourself in specialized historical works and observing pictorial art ‪from the 8th to the 11th‬ century, you will find their contributions to Europe.
